Day 01: HO CHI MINH CITY – PHAN THIET – PHU QUY ISLAND (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
PICK-UP/DROP-OFF LOCATION: At the Hotel
- The bus and guide will pick you up at the hotel to depart for Phan Thiet City.
- Arrive in Phan Thiet, stop for breakfast.
- Head to the port, the guide will complete procedures for guests to board the speedboat to Phu Quy Island (Departure times may vary depending on each departure, the guide will notify guests as soon as possible).
- Set foot on the island. Transfer to the hotel to drop off luggage (or check-in if rooms are available).
- Free time to explore the island.
- Have lunch, take a midday break. Rest at the guesthouse/hotel.
- Visit and take photos at the Sovereign Sea Flagpole on Phu Quy Island. Here, guests will learn about the sacredness and difficulties the locals face in protecting Vietnam’s maritime sovereignty.
- Visit Bai Nho, Ganh Hang – a beautiful crescent-shaped beach nestled into the mountains, a natural gift to Phu Quy Island, characterized by millions of years old volcanic lava creating unique formations.
- Take photos at Doc Phuot – Love Valley (a nickname given by adventure travelers).
- Conquer Cao Cat Mountain – Linh Son Pagoda: one of the ancient and beautiful temples located on the top of the majestic Cao Cat Mountain. To reach here, guests must climb a steep slope and several dozen steps. After overcoming these, you will find it worthwhile with a panoramic view of the island. Additionally, Cao Cat Mountain is considered sacred by the locals due to the statue of Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva on the mountain peak. From here, you can admire the entire landscape and beauty of Phu Quy.
- 18:00: Dinner and free time to explore the island at night.
Day 02: EXPLORE PHU QUY ISLAND – HON TRANH – SEAFOOD BBQ (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Morning:
- Guests can wake up early for a swim at Trieu Duong Bay Beach. Trieu Duong Bay is the longest and widest beach on Phu Quy Island. Visitors will be amazed by the beauty and scenery here, still untouched and clean.
- Breakfast.
- Guests travel by motorbike to the port to take a canoe to Bai Tranh (Hon Tranh).
- Canoe lands at Hon Tranh, the local guide will guide guests to explore and check-in at Hon Tranh.
- Canoe takes guests to Vung Phat Beach, where the guide will provide life jackets and snorkels for free diving to explore the ocean floor or kayaking.
- Canoe returns guests to the main island, ending the snorkeling and Hon Tranh tour.
Afternoon:
- Lunch and rest.
- Continue the journey to explore Phu Quy Island by motorbike.
- Take photos at the Wind Power Plant, with giant wind turbines producing clean electricity for the island.
- Visit Princess Ban Tranh Temple – the first person to set foot on the island.
- Visit Dinh Thay Cape or Mo Doi Thay. For locals, this is a very sacred and respected place. This is a land protruding into the sea, the best sunrise viewpoint on the island. Thay Nai's Tomb is revered by locals as the protector god of the island, located at the foot of Cao Cat Mountain. An ideal spot for sightseeing and photography.
18:00: Enjoy a SEAFOOD BBQ DINNER full of coastal flavors.
Day 03: PHU QUY – PHAN THIET – HO CHI MINH CITY (Breakfast, Lunch)
Morning:
- Check out, have breakfast. Then head to the port, the guide will complete procedures for the group to board the Superdong or Express boat back to Phan Thiet.
- Arrive back on the mainland, visit the Dục Thanh School historical site in Phan Thiet where Ho Chi Minh stopped to teach before going to Saigon to find a way to save the country.
Afternoon:
- Lunch at a restaurant. Then take the bus back to Saigon. On the way, the bus will stop at a rest stop for guests to use the facilities, and buy Phan Thiet specialties as gifts for loved ones.
- Note: For safety reasons, your interary will be adjusted to change if the weather is unfavorable.
